The movie clips on each page of this site really makes it stand out.  This is a WordPress site with a sophisticated category system that will show different types of blog entries on different pages.

Additionally, as a gifting site (they take no money but ask for donations) they can add a “Donate a Cup of Coffee” to any blog or page (another great plugin.)
